So last night, I woke up twice in the middle of the night with a terribly hurting throat (I don't care if that's bad grammar btw). Well, it was the middle of the night (as I said), and you may not know this about me, but I really don't like the dark. Read. I'm kind of afraid of the dark.
So, I was trying to get rid of whatever was making my throat hurt by spitting out gross stuff into the sink (you probably didn't want to know that). And when I walk out of the bathroom, something compelled me to look at the wall next to the bathroom across from my bed. So I did. Big mistake.
There, sitting on the wall, was a massive, ginormous spider (okay, I may be exaggerating..a little. It was about the size of a quarter though!). Anyway, first I gasped. Then shuddered (I hate spiders, and if Jordan were there, he would have been awoken to save me from it). But alas he was not, so I bravely grabbed the tissue box next to me, inched it toward the spider (with my insides crawling....oh gross, that wasn't meant to be a pun), and then WHAM! Smashed the spider. It stuck to the wall. So I quickly tiptoed toward the bathroom (I didn't want to step on any other spider that might be lingering in my bedroom), and grabbed some toilet paper. Just as I was about to squish the spider into the toilet paper again. It MOVED!!! Okay, really it fell. But I screamed nonetheless. And then I refused to pick it up.
And then when I finally went to bed, I covered myself completely with my (really hot) blanket. Yeah, that only lasted a little while because it was too hot. Slowly I inched myself out of my blanket. But then I got paranoid again, freaked out, and turned on the lights and visually inspected my entire room. No spiders. Finally I could go back to sleep... (well, ish, I was still feeling sick :( )
So that's my story from last night. Goodness, I can't wait to get married and make Jordan take care of gross bugs like that. Ick!
